Sacred Sabbath: Reflections of Christ

Good beautiful Sunday morning!

Today I want to share one of my most favorite short films on Christ. It's really a slideshow done by an amazing photographer, Mark Mabry.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, and that it brings a bit of heaven into your day. Be sure to pull your children over to watch it, too. I showed it to my primary kids at church last week. They loved it! As we discussed the different pictures the Spirit was strongly present.

(Grab some tissues before you start!)

I have two favorite slides:

1. Joseph pondering by the sleeping Mary and baby. The focus is so much on Mary and Jesus that I think we sometimes forget about Joseph. He must have had a lot on his mind that night knowing he had been given the incredible charge to raise the boy Jesus. What a great insight into a special son of God.

2. Jesus and John the Baptist glorying in the baptism. How can you not smile with this photo? It exudes pure joy.

If you liked this video please leave a comment and tell me what your favorites pictures were. Make sure to leave a comment for Mark Mabry, too.

Have a sacred Sabbath!

  2. What a glorious, goose-bump-filled, beautiful slideshow.

I loved the two slides you mentioned... and the slides after Christ's return.

The music was gorgeous and perfect too.

Thanks for sharing (and for linking up to the #SHINEbloghop).

    Wishing you a lovely week.
    xoxo
